JBL Live TWS 3 Series Charging Case : Over time, wireless earbud technology—as well as sound quality has advanced dramatically, but charging cases for these devices still mostly function as advertised.
The First-Ever “Smart JBL Live TWS 3 Series” Charging Case is shown by JBL.
That is, until JBL released its flagship Tour Pro 2 wireless earphones together with the world’s first “smart” charging case. With its touchscreen display, the little box can handle a variety of tasks, such as showing the battery life and changing the sound settings. Harry McKerrell, one of our staff writers, had a great time with it.
New and Innovative Feature
It follows that a more reasonable selection of AirPods substitutes now provide this ground-breaking functionality. The most recent iteration of the casing, with a 1.45-inch LED touchscreen, is part of JBL Live TWS 3 line, which was recently introduced at CES 2024.
Variety of Styles to Fit Any Preference
Depending on how you wish to wear them, you may choose from three distinct variants of the buds, each of which offers a somewhat different design.

Beam, Flex, and Bud Designs
Of the JBL Live TWS 3 Series, the “Buds” (top image) has the most understated and compact appearance, while the “Beam” has a stem design with bigger touch-sensitive control surfaces. Finally, for those who prefer not to feel like their eartips are digging deep into their ears, the “Flex” (seen below) offers a more open earbud design.
Awesome Bluetooth Functions in this series
All of the JBL Live TWS 3 Series come with built-in compatibility for Bluetooth 5.3. In the future, a software upgrade will enable LE (Low Energy) and multipoint Bluetooth, enabling the buds to connect to several devices simultaneously.
Extended Replay and Sturdiness
Each charge of the buds should last you ten hours of playing, with a further thirty hours if you use the case. Not at all awful. The JBLs are also water- and dust-resistant, having an IP55 rating, so they should be durable enough to survive the occasional downpour of rain and be competitive with the finest running headphones available.
Smart Cases
Will smart case technology become popular? Apple seems to be exploring possibilities for future earphones, as seen by the rumored patent for an AirPods cover with an integrated touchscreen. How do you feel? Is this a useful feature or just a cheap trick? Tell us in the comments section below.
Cost and Availability
